Why a Christian to be HATED?

I would like to share some thoughts that have been on my mind lately. As a Christian man from an Indigenous community, I sometimes struggle with feelings of hurt and misunderstanding, and I believe it’s important to talk about it. I’ve been on my faith journey for almost two years now, and it has truly changed my life. I went from feeling lost and battling depression to discovering hope and improvement in my mental well-being. Embracing this faith has been a positive experience for me. I gained a new Job which I never expected to get this position and I have graduated from the best university in Cambodia. However, the transition hasn’t been without its challenges. Some friends and people close to me have distanced themselves, and I’ve faced some bullying and rejection, even being invited to my wedding. It’s been tough, especially since I never meant to hurt anyone. It's important for us to remember the significance of our roots and identities, regardless of our beliefs. Our Cambodi...

Why do we as Christians sing?

Have you ever wondered why God wants his individuals to sing? “Anybody who has ever been to church or seen on social media will have noted that there is very a parcel of singing but is it basic and seems we revere God successfully without it?”  Here are a few of my experiences and scriptural reasons from well-known pastors worldwide.   Firstly, singing makes a difference for us, as it allows us to unwind and lock in each perspective of our being: intellect, body, and soul. What is more, singing has a special capacity to lead us into God’s nearness in harmony with others. At whatever point I have arrived at church; I feel new and appreciate singing since makes strides in my mental well-being and leads me to God’s nearness.   Secondly, let the word of Christ stay in you luxuriously, instructing and rebuking one another in all shrewdness, singing hymns and psalms and otherworldly melodies, with appreciation in your hearts to God (Colossians 3:16). To b...

Australia is a beautiful country for many visitors included me. Canberra has been the capital of Australia since March 12, 1913. There are a total of 86 cities in Australia, with eight cities given the title of capital cities. The most populated cities are Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart, and Darwin. There are about 4.5 million people living in Sydney as a whole. Sydney serves as the state capital of New South Wales, not the nation's capital.   [1]  Nonetheless, Sydney was the first European town to be established and the oldest and biggest settlement on the continent.   [2] Sydney is brought us with various beautiful places options to visit when we arrived Sydney city. The best thing I preferred to explore is Sydney Opera House, National Libraries, and China Town.   The Opera House is the modern culture, best scenery, top-notch educational system, and welcoming atmosphere for tourists. According to ARUP’s article, Opera House is o...

How junior students be ready?

An exchange program is a program that allows students or youths to explore and experience other countries. I believe that there are many young people who are passionate about having an exchange program in another country. Unfortunately, most of them misunderstand how to apply for the scholarship for the exchange program. It’s truth that some of candidate would miss the opportunity due to they live in rural area and they have no networks who can share the information to them. As my experience, applying exchanging program is mostly highly competitive and selective because there are hundred candidates who trying for an exchange scholarship with us at the same time. In truth, the first time I tried to apply for YSEALI's exchange program to the United States, I was rejected because I didn't know how to write an essay and I didn't include the required references. I continued just trying to reapply by making improvements to my application and getting guidance from my senior who ...

Can we get out of our comfort zone?

It's natural for humans to stay in comfort zones because it provides security and comfortable. However, staying in our comfort zone can also limit our growth and potential. Grand Cayon National Park, USA Leave comfort zone can challenge ourselves, personal growth, and awareness of our talent and passions. The more we leave our comfort zone the more we see the beautiful world. Have you ever tried to do it? If not, it is a matter of you being scared and no confidence to get out of it. In my experience, I was living in a comfort zone where young people were afraid to go outside the village.  Stay away from the village is a personal perspective of my villagers because they were scared to live far away from their families and did not want to challenge new things in their life. But I tried hard to push myself to leave my small village to continue my study in an urban city. This is the reason that I can see the largest and most beautiful world. I was the same afraid of stepping ...

Why you join YSEALI program

Visit beautiful places       This program is perfect for people who want to visit popular tourist destinations in the United States. As a result of my adventures, I have been to many beautiful places in Arizona, New York City, and Washington, DC.      I was in Arizona for 28 days to study at Arizona State University. I also visited Grand Cayon National Park, which is a beautiful place where visitors can see snow, golden rocks, trees, and blue clouds. These views made me happy and made me feel as if I were in heaven. It is turned to explore New York City, where people from all over the world want to see the Statue of Liberty. I enjoyed walking through a city park because it is so peaceful and clean.  I went to the United Nations Charter because it is one of my goals to take a photo there. To be honest, this city is culturally diverse, with a modern population. New York is the largest city in the United States of America. A picture near the Statue o...

Pre-tips before apply exchange scholarship

High school or college students take part in inter-learning exchanges to explore and travel abroad with support from their institutions or partners in order to provide insights and build new relationships. Having experienced exploring another different nation while learning about that country's history, environment, and culture during foreign exchange programs. They might also create various friends to enable their personal growth. International exchange events can improve attendees' capabilities and advance global peace. My personal involvement in regional and international programs outside of the country has allowed me to discover new things and meet friends from many nations.  Unless we understand how to apply for credit to take part in an exchange workshop, none of us will be able to take part in a regional or worldwide program.  Fortunately, I have been selected to attend the Youth Southeast Leadership Initiative-YSEALI program, it is a wonderful initiative curriculum f...
