My Viewpoints: Why do we as Christians sing?
Have you ever wondered why God wants
his individuals to sing? “Anybody who has ever been to church or seen on social
media will have noted that there is very a parcel of singing but is it
basic and seems we revere God successfully without it?”[1]
Here are a few of my experiences and scriptural reasons from well-known pastors
worldwide.
Firstly, singing makes a difference for us, as it allows us
to unwind and lock in each perspective of our being: intellect, body, and soul.
What is more, singing has a special capacity to lead us into God’s nearness in
harmony with others.[2]
At whatever point I have arrived at church; I feel new and appreciate singing
since makes strides in my mental well-being and leads me to God’s
nearness.
Secondly, let the word of Christ stay
in you luxuriously, instructing and rebuking one another in all shrewdness,
singing hymns and psalms and otherworldly melodies, with appreciation in your
hearts to God (Colossians 3:16). To be legitimate, each melody is profoundly
associated to God’s message or words to recuperate and motivate individuals.
The tune You Raise Me Up or Khem’s melody, a few melodies rouse me and others.

Thirdly, singing makes a difference
us keeping in mind God’s words. Paul says, “Let the word of Christ stay in your
rich…singing hymns, psalms, and otherworldly songs.”[3]
Do not get inebriated with wine, for that is intemperance, but be filled with
the Soul, tending to one another in hymns, songs, and otherworldly tunes,
singing and making song to the Master with your heart… (Ephesians 5:18-19).[4]
Lastly, Singing makes a difference in us
reflecting God’s Radiance[5],
educating and reproving one another in all intelligence, singing hymns, psalms,
and otherworldly tunes, with gratefulness in your hearts to God.” (Col. 3:16,
ESV)

In conclusion, it is conceivable to adore God without singing. Undoubtedly, we have been made to honor, commend, and adore God in each range of our lives. Be that as it may, singing for revere from our administrations would significantly ruin our endeavors to draw close to God in the solidarity of the Soul and it would disallow us from locking in revere with each angle of our being, Charlie Lacey.
