Why a Christian to be HATED?
I would like to share some thoughts that have been on my mind lately. As a Christian man from an Indigenous community, I sometimes struggle with feelings of hurt and misunderstanding, and I believe it’s important to talk about it.
I’ve been on my faith journey for almost two years now, and it has truly changed my life. I went from feeling lost and battling depression to discovering hope and improvement in my mental well-being. Embracing this faith has been a positive experience for me. I gained a new Job which I never expected to get this position and I have graduated from the best university in Cambodia.
However, the transition hasn’t been without its challenges. Some friends and people close to me have distanced themselves, and I’ve faced some bullying and rejection, even being invited to my wedding. It’s been tough, especially since I never meant to hurt anyone.
It's important for us to remember the significance of our roots and identities, regardless of our beliefs. Our Cambodian Supreme Law emphasizes the importance of treating everyone with respect, regardless of their faith. To create a more harmonious world, we should honor and appreciate the rich diversity of nations, beliefs, and perspectives that surround us.
Let’s all strive to foster respect and kindness in our communities. Wishing you all a wonderful day in our life.
